Last weekend Tim and I drove to the outskirts of Boston for my nephew’s wedding. We’re black on Block Island, but only for a little while. Sadly (or not) it’s time to leave for home.
Children of Tim and Sally Crane—now parents themselves.

My niece Lesslie and her father (my brother) Norman.
Peter and Norman accompany me on a visit to the Harvard Museum of Natural History to see an exhibit of glass flowers.

I took many iPhone pictures. Inspiring for a photographer of plants!
Amazing detail in the parts normally too small to see.

Back on Block Island for a continued exhibit of art at Bethany’s Airport Diner
Sights at the northern tip of Block Island.
An evening walk
I climb above the airport for a good view of the rising moon on the Solstice.
It’s time to leave. We’re not flying, but you get the idea.
Until next year, when I hope we’ll be back again for another visit to our favorite island.
