Bainbridge

We have achieved arrival at Bainbridge, Home of Elmer’s Glue (1947). We’re feeling good, and all fears about overreaching have receded, at least for now. The distance was close to 60 miles, which we covered at about 10 mph, not counting the time we were resting, or sitting around eating ice cream. The stationary phases of our travel amounted to about a third of the total time.

We’re sitting in the Laudromat, the only place in town with Wi-Fi, and I’m tapping this out on my iPhone. I’ve had quite enough of this arrangement for now.

My next post will reveal my secrets of nutrition and performance.

Bainbridge is one of the places Lauren Gough had a parish. Afton is the other place.
Resting and eating ice cream are very good things to do, especially in such a pretty place.
